It was very warm out today. Even though the temperature was "only" in the upper 60's it felt a whole lot like summer. There may be a few more records tomorrow and possibly Sunday, but that should just about do it for a while as we cool off some.

Wow, insane. Once again it was warmer in much of the west than in South Florida.

Yes indeedy, after the wettest February in some 30 years and a VERY COLD Dec, Jan.......this warm spell has been WONDERFUL. I can ACTUALLY walk around my yard now without sinking up to my knees in MUD  It's STILL very, very, very wet in the shade, so wet in fact, with the spring winds we've been having, there are 200-300 year old Ponderosa Pines falling over because the ground's SO WET  And as andrewr said, come tomorrow, Sunday, the warm spell is over and it's BACK to reality........snow Sunday night!

Yeah it was funny, most of Feb we would have record lows set in the morning, and record highs set in the afternoon!! Truly has been a odd winter here in the west. Very wet in the south, very dry up here in the north.

Yep, our weather certainly has been weird this year. Hopefully we can enter a more normal pattern starting this next week.

No records in AZ though because all of the records for this period in March come from 1989-the hottest Spring and year on record in the state. It was so hot during this same time in march 1989 that I was seeing low 90's here at the house despite being at 4675' elevation.
