Looks like it probably will be over water when the next radar image comes out. http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR632.loop.shtml

the eye is now totally over water by the looks off things about 125kms NW off Darwin at present and is looking fairly good indeed with a fairly impressive eye and still decent eyewall.A nice system no doubt about and reintensification now its back over water is quite possible with some high SST's and also decent shear levels as well up ahead off it and it has enough sea ahead off it for some decent intensification, worht watching but a third landfall is looking likely now, this system certainly has been about for a long time and it may have a little while left yet before it makes a final landfall.I think it is probable that it could well still get upto category-4 yet,who knows!
and yes there is a band off heavy rain affecting Darwin now,as it has been for the last 30 minutes, still maybe another 20-30 minutes off torrential rain for Darwin from this band, coupled with Gale winds it must be quite nasty out there at present!

I guess the pearl industry has taken a beating from Ingrid.
A ship sank (crew wasn't hurt) and pearl farms (evacuated) were badly damaged. Damage is expected to be millions of dollars.
Some ships with 70 Indonesian fishermen sought shelter near an Australian military base. The military base felt it would be too dangerous for the fishermen to ride out the storm on their ships and allowed the fishermen to come onto the base.
It's perfectly fine for Indonesian fishermen to seek shelter in Australian waters during cyclones. A lot safer too. In 1989, 40 Indonesian fishermen drowned during Cyclone Orson.
Croker Island is being described as "decimated" by Ingrid. It's reported that the island received gusts up to 320 km/h!
