New Winter Website, You Decide Which Regions Get Covered...

#1 Postby Noreaster_Jer_04 » Tue Mar 15, 2005 4:08 pm

Coming the Winter of 05-06

The success of BerksWinterCast, has led to alot of feedback asking me to extend its reach to include areas up to New England and south in the Middle Atlantic and after alot of thought this winter I decided that such a site would be an exciting prospect, it will also be a challenge but I look forward to it... It's true that in the 5 years of doing it for Berks (PA) there have been many high points and some low, but one this is for sure... It's been alot of fun, I will miss the back yard forecasting, but at the same time it would get boring if there wasn't a storm, so expanding the site's scope should make for a more active winter in reguards to site activity... It's also going to let me get further down on the Winter Storm Name list, I was averaging 5-6 storms a year... I now expect that I will be getting closer and to the 15 mark.

The site will be filled with lots of good recources including radar data, satellite data, computer models, In depth analysis, maps, current conditions, forecasts and so much more...

As for regions that will be included...

You get to decide, below is a poll make your vote count...

even tho you would like to keep it focused in the east it would be nice to see a site devoted at least in part to the Pac NW. Just a thought. PLEASE!! Does anybody else second this vote??
