And of course Peterson's attorney would try to blame Laci and her unborn baby's death on some intruder who killed them in a home invasion!

GLAD that Scott got a death sentence!! :larrow:

Instead of lethal injection, they should put him through what Laci went through. Tie a few sinderblocks to his legs and dump him over. Would save a ton tax money taking care of him for yrs while he waits for the injection. He is just wasted space!!!

Just my 2 cents though.

let the Mafia distribute the death penalty.

WHat he will go through is nothing compared to his victims. Its like going to the vet and having your pet put down: its very humane.

DOes he deserve humanity.

That's why I wish the United States NEVER started with lethal injection for a form of execution!

At least San Quentin used to have a cyanide gas chamber...but even that would seem TOO merciful for someone like Scott Peterson!! :grrr:

For someone that is not religious on what is "right or wrong"

It always bothers me that for the most part, everyone feels that once the '"convicted" is sentenced to "death" that we must immediately condemn him to "death'

Why?

I'm sure that this may be a "biblical" type or reasoning.

But I treasure LIFE and no matter what is said and done, I do not want to see anyone's LIFE taken...

Frankly, I believe that the inmates will relieve society of this burden in short order. :larrow:

Not even Osama's?

(Not trying to start a political debate, ok? Just asking because I used to be knock-down, drag-out, staunchly pro-life in all cases -- abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, assisted suicide, etc. -- until 9/11. )

Dang GDuck....Great question posed...

For myself it is one of the issues that continues to "haunt" me in a sense, in that I have trouble sometimes in grasping in what I feel is "right or wrong"

You're absolutely correct...because the death penalty is Biblical. :larrow: Thou shalt not kill to me means in a situation where Cain slew his brother Abel over intense jealousy over a birthright issue. To me at least...it doesn't refer to our modern times death penalty system in prisons. Peeps can call it what they will...but that's just my 2 cents on it.

REDWOOD CITY, California (AP) -- Secured with leg irons and shackles around his wrists and waist, Scott Peterson was taken to San Quentin State Prison early Thursday after being sentenced to die for murdering his pregnant wife, Laci.

Peterson was transferred under heavy security from the San Mateo County jail to San Quentin at 3:10 a.m. The infamous prison, which overlooks the bay where Laci's body was discarded and houses the men's death row, is about 20 miles north of San Francisco.

There he goes to that prison at the Bay. :grrr:
