Winter takes its final grasp in the South before disappearing.

Then in December, it's gonna be cold again.

it's a good thing the people or moderators moved my topic to this forum then the winter forum, that was a good idea. Each forum should have their own countdown. The winter forum will eventually have their winter countdown, or course the hurricane season countdown, and the spring countdown. We should also countdown to summer after spring comes tomorrow because of course severe weather exists in the summer.

Where is spring? Its around 68 out right now and was 50 this morning. It seems that whenever we get into a nice warm spell things immediately cool down again. At this rate the flowers wont be blooming til the end of March  .

for us, I think we will see a lot of vegetation this year. Rain tomorrow, rain on Wednesday, rain by next weekend. A lot of rain means a lot of vegetation, trees and flowers. They don't start blooming until early to mid April though, sometimes longer. I just don't want a lot of rain this Spring. I hope we have a nice dry hot summer this year. Seasons should be what they are, hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and so forth. Severe weather is a nice bonus even if I'm frightened of thunderstorms.

Well Spring better hurry up down here. I dont recall it ever being this cold during mid-late March. Supposed to be 48 tonight(probably gonna be lower as the forecasters have busted alot on low temps recently). I wouldnt be surprised if the record(46) is in jeopardy. To top it all off, its spring break. But it looks like the summer pattern will begin soon.

Wow! What a wonderful start of Spring, here! Temps
were in the low 60°s, sunny, and, I got my backyard
flower bed cleared and weeded, and, my big brother,
sis-in-law and I got a row of onions planted! Next weekend
looks to be closer to the 70° range. Bring it ON!!!
