I just don't know about FEMA.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

You and alot of other Floridians have alot of questions about FEMA after last year and the continued recovery.. To build your own home anywhere in Florida and not insure it in is not a smart thing. Clearly hurricane recovery is not like we all get now things and continue happily ever after. Everyone does however deserve quick and clear answers to their recovery questions..no doubt. The delays and runarounds are incredibly stressfull. We still have plenty of blue tarps here in SW Florida with both the rainy season and hurricane season fast approaching..

Just this weekend, we started putting sheetrock in .............I don't think people that are not within a 100 mile radius of us realize how absolutley devastated we still are. Debris piles are still everywhere here in GB and rubble is what has replced some of the most beautiful homes in the area.... I should be back into my house just in time for the next cane season....................God help us all if we get hit again.............

Rebuild NW Fl..........BLESS THEM..........has their work cut out for them, there is so much need for thier services. I am simply looking for labor, insurance $$ will cover the materials but in no way will it even come close to covering what companies charge in labor. It really is still very sad around here.....................

LOL. FEMA.

After Andrew, most down this way didn't have much good to say about it.

And now with the scam fiasco down in Miami-Dade and with FEMA having their head and denying the problem?

FEMA's not worth the powder to blow it to hell.
