WELL....after a record breaking winter (2nd wettest winter since records have been kept) :eek: Spring has FINALLY sprung, as evident by this WIND advisory! We'll see how QUICK the 6" of MUD dries up over this next week:

LITTLE COLORADO RVR VLY IN NAVAJO CO-
NORTHEAST PLATEAU AND MESAS SOUTH OF 264-
NORTHEAST PLATEAUS AND MESAS 264 NORTH-WHITE MOUNTAINS-
343 AM MST MON MAR 28 2005

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING UNTIL 9 PM MST
THIS EVENING..

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FLAGSTAFF HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY.
BY 11 AM MST TODAY SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
50 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS WILL DECREASE THIS EVENING AS THE
STORM SYSTEM MOVES EASTWARD.

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN WIND SPEEDS OF 30 TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS
OF 40 TO 57 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE MAY CAUSE
MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE AND DIFFICULT DRIVING...ESPECIALLY IN
EXPOSED LOCATIONS WITH CROSS WINDS. USE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING..
ESPECIALLY WITH TRAILERS OR IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

The sun is just now peeking it's head up over the horizon, just a TAD bit of daylight starting to show and the winds already picking up.......if it's like this with daylight just cracking, WHAT'S it gonna be like when the sun ACTUALLY RISES?? :eek:

I have to say though, I really felt sorry for the man playing Amazing Grace in front of my church Sunday morning....... playing bagpipes and wearing a kilt in all that freezing wind! :eek: :lol:
