Michael Jackson's former long-time housekeeper Thursday described Neverland Ranch as a place where children "became wild" during long stays without their parents, drank alcohol in Jackson's presence and often slept with the pop star, instead of in their assigned guest rooms.

Sounds to me that this is not Neverland Ranch, but instead Neverland U! My dorm mates displayed similar behavior, while I, of course, sat idly by and sipped a cold soda!

The Associated Press Breaking News: Updated: 1:35 p.m. ET March 28, 2005 SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The judge in Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial ruled Monday that the prosecution may present testimony about past allegations against the pop star involving five boys, including two who reached multimillion-dollar civil settlements with the singer.

Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville ruled after hearing arguments by District Attorney Tom Sneddon and vigorous opposition by defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr.

On Monday morning, prosecutors asked the judge for permission to call witnesses to testify about alleged past improper behavior by the pop star — including one who will say that the singer put his hand down his pants.

Sneddon described a variety of witnesses, but he did not immediately specifically identify two well-known cases, one in 1993 and another in 1990, that resulted in multimillion-dollar civil settlements with no criminal charges filed.

Sneddon told the judge he wanted to call one witness who will testify that Jackson twice touched him inappropriately outside his pants and once inside his pants.

The prosecutor also told the judge that Jackson was observed inappropriately touching four children. The alleged touching included kissing, hugging and inserting his hand into children’s pants, he said.

“All of these children are basically within the ages of 10 and 13” at the time of the alleged offenses, Sneddon said.

The district attorney also said that testimony would include Jackson being seen in bed with four children while the underwear of the children and Jackson was at the side of the bed.

As I said before a big blow for the defense and a great win for the prosecution.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — The organizer of a comedy camp for underprivileged kids who sought to put Michael Jackson's (search) accuser in touch with the singer while the boy was being treated for cancer took the stand Tuesday in the pop star's child molestation trial.

The trial resumed one day after Judge Rodney Melville ruled jurors can hear evidence about five past allegations that the singer molested and "groomed" — or prepared — children for molestation, including former child star Macaulay Culkin (search), delivering a shocking blow to the defense.

In his testimony on Tuesday, Jamie Masada owner of the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, hardly mentioned the pop star sitting across the courtroom.

Masada played down his role in bringing Jackson together with his eventual accuser, and said only that he made a number of phone calls to people including music producer Quincy Jones to try to fulfill the sick boy's wish to meet Jackson.

"I don't know if the message got to him or the fact that he called the next day was by the will of God," said Masada.

Masada said that during a hospital visit the boy was excited and told Masada that Jackson had called.

Todays testimony at trial from Jaime Masada.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — A flight attendant who has undercut a prosecution claim that Michael Jackson served alcohol to his accuser during a jet trip testified in the pop star's child molestation trial Wednesday that the boy was unruly and rude and started a food fight.

Cynthia Bell returned to the witness stand for a second day to testify about flying with Jackson, his accuser and members of the boy's family from Miami to Santa Barbara in February 2003.

She repeated her testimony from Tuesday that she served Jackson wine in a Diet Coke can and did not see his accuser drink from it, as the prosecution contends.

Bell also said Jackson appeared noticeably relaxed from the wine but did not appear drunk.

She said that at one point Jackson's accuser threw mashed potatoes at a sleeping doctor who was traveling with Jackson and it resulted in a food fight among many of the passengers.

"The initial flinging of mashed potatoes was not playful. Throwing mashed potatoes at a sleeping man?" she said.

The witness was called by the prosecution but her answers to questions by Deputy District Attorney Gordon Auchincloss and cross-examination by defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. (search) favored Jackson.

Read about todays testimony from a flight attendant not a good prosecution witness but good for the defense.Look what happened at a flight.

I guess that flight attendant was never 10 years old. A 10 year old (especially boy!) would think hitting a sleeping guy with mashed potatoes is hilarious!

(of course as a parent I would have to disapprove, while trying hard not to let my kid see me laughing! )

With the events going on in Rome there are other things going on.Here is todays testimony at the trial.

SANTA MARIA, California (CNN) -- An attorney representing the family of the teenage boy at the center of Michael Jackson's child molestation trial testified Friday the family never asked him to file a lawsuit against the pop star.

The testimony by Larry Feldman seemed to support Jackson defense attorneys who contend that the boy's family sought money from the pop star.

SANTA MARIA, California (CNN) -- The former house manager for Michael Jackson's Neverland testified Monday that he saw the pop star intoxicated in the presence of children "quite a few times" and once saw the singer emerge from the ranch's arcade with a group of drunk boys.

Manager Jesus Salas also told jurors in Jackson's child molestation trial that once he took a bottle of wine and four glasses to Jackson's bedroom, where the singer was staying with several children, including his teenage accuser and his younger brother.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — A man who testified he was molested by Michael Jackson more than a decade ago repeatedly pleaded a poor memory Tuesday as the pop star's lawyer cross-examined him about his story.

The 24-year-old man clashed with Jackson attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. who tried to highlight inconsistencies between the story that the witness told on the stand and his earlier accounts.

"I don't mean to sound like I'm wasting your time," he told the lawyer at one point. "It's hard being up here."

"Just answer my question," said Mesereau.

The witness, the son of a former Jackson housekeeper, was called by the prosecution on Monday in an effort to show Jackson has a pattern of inappropriate behavior with boys. Jackson is on trial on charges of molesting a 13-year-old cancer victim in 2003 at his Neverland ranch.

The housekeeper's son received $2.4 million from Jackson in 1994 and no criminal charges were filed. The jury was told of the settlement but not the sum. The boy's attorney acknowledged the terms involved no admission of wrongdoing by Jackson.

On Monday, the young man said Jackson twice touched his crotch over his clothes and once reached under his clothes and touched his genitals during tickling games when he was 7 to 10 years old. He also said that in the first two incidents Jackson stuck $100 into his clothes.

The above is the most important moments of todays testimony by one of the boys now an adult who alleges Jackson molested him.

Jurors in the Michael Jackson case were overheard during a break in the trial mocking a 24-year old witness who claimed he was molested by Michael Jackson when he was 7 and 9-years old, sources claim.

Specifically, a Juror was overheard by two reporters [one fron UK's SKY TV] saying, "Oh boo-hooo, Michael Jackson tickled me." That statement was followed by laughter from other Jurors.

The comment was also heard by a bailiff.

Court officials are investigating.

The report was first broadcast on Los Angeles's top-rated radio outlet KFI, by reporter Laura Ingle.

Jurors 8 and 9 have been observed laughing during the latest witness testimony, frequently cupping their mouths and talking during testimony.

Does anyone know how many alternates are on this jury? I was wondering on another thread if this would be grounds for a mistrial, and Duckie reminded me they'd probably first try replacing them with alternates.

Four men and four women were chosen Thursday to serve as alternate jurors for pop star Michael Jackson’s trial, setting the stage for opening statements to begin next week.

Alternates will be called on if there is a problem with one of the four men and eight women on jury panel.
