Yep... we are "in the zone"!!

Actually the convection has died down again but it looks like ANOTHER re-loading to our west.

Through it all... Snoqualmie Pass is in the direct line of fire. Probably snowing at the rate of 2-3 inches per hour up there now.

Winds have really increased the last 20 minutes...gusts up to 35 mph. Coming from an interesting direction...west. We never have winds that exceed 20 mph from the west.

We are just missing where the heavy precip keeps re-forming by less than 30 miles. So close!

W13...looks like a good camera to me, and has about the same features as my kodak easyshare 6480 has. -- Andy

Justin, I bought my mom that exact camera last summer (had to get her out of the stone age of 35MM like TT  ). Its a great camera!! Better then mine. I highly recommend it!

Well I am really amazed I still have power! West winds have got to be over 40MPH now!! Making me a little nervous, the only trees that could get my house are to my west on my neighbors property. I usually never have to worry about them, but tonight I AM!! They are HUGE fur trees!!

Crazy stuff!!

You can see the wind clutter (looks like moderate precip, but is stationary, and isn't precip) on the radar perfectly right were I am between I-5 and puget sound, and straight to the east of Camino Island! You can really tell were the winds are pounding into the land from the west! Anthonys area down just south of Everett is getting also! Take a look.......

Also seeing flashes of something in the distance to the east, either transformers blowing or lightning!

Amazing, they will probably get 24-30 inches by midnight. That is just crazy!

Same story here, minus the light rain. The wind is only averaging 5mph now, but we did have our top gust of the day an hour or two ago of 28mph.

What web site are you getting the data for Snoqualmie Pass, TT? The Summit At Snoqualmie site doesn't update very often.

Earlier today...or rather late this morning, I had some pretty breezy/gusty winds. And here`s a pic of my anemometer that shows my wind gust. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ajc192004 ... pg&.src=ph

The multiple convergence zones are quieting down now.

The rain / hail / sleet has completely stopped now.

We are at 1.70 inches of rain for the day.

6.21 inches since Saturday morning.

8.71 inches in the last 2 weeks.

I think we are about finished for this month. We will finish considerably above our normal of 6 inches for March.

Here is the web site...

http://www.nwac.us/%7Enwac/mtnweather.htm

You have to sort through some bad data but its all there. It appears the 24-hour totals start over again at 6 a.m.

So... for Snoqualmie Pass they had 11 inches ending at 6 a.m. and another 9 inches since then for a total of 20 inches today.

You get bogus readings every few hours but look at the overall picture.

Upon further investigation... it appears that each station has its own "reset" time for the 24 hour snow totals.

Some might even have "running" 24-hour totals.

Snoqualmie Pass clearly starts over at 6 a.m.
