Here`s some info on Woodinville from the same link that was posted on rockport. http://www.idcide.com/citydata/wa/woodinville.htm

Wow, I always imagined Woodinville's population being a bit more than that. Looks as if it declined a lot and it snow just strating to rise again.
While we are at it, here is a link to the info on the city of Kent:

Here`s a pic from this afternoon that shows just how thick the alto stratus clouds were most of today. Just barely enough to see the sun!

Wow TT! I am so jealous of your new place!
That looks like a great house and a great setting. You should really enjoy that.
Andy...I am thinking that Sunday looks like a better bet for thundershowers than tomorrow, but I would not rule one out. The GFS shows widespread lifted index values below 0 on Sunday. That looks like it could be an interesting day! I am very impressed that two strong cold fronts are going to come through so close together. This should be a monster period coming up for snow in the mountains. It is sure exciting to see that the latest 0z has a major trough carving out over the western US for day 10 and beyond. We are going to have lots of rain, wind, thunder, hail, mountain snows, and below normal temps!

Wow it's really raining here now. We are also getting some pretty impressive wind gusts as well. I think I'll have some more picture fun.

Brennan....wow! More cool pics you have there! And the 4th pic is the first time you have posted it, so you may have been thinking about the other pics you posted of your back yard.
Snow-wizzard.....what site were you looking at when you mentioned the lifted index?? This is where I look.. http://www.iges.org/pix/quicklook.html

Viewing this morning 6z and 12z GFS....this weekend through most of next week will remain quite cool and showery as weak to moderate systems come ashore to spread rain and mountain snow too our region. Though it does appear that there will be a slight warm up on the 7th and into the 8th as we get a one day dry spell as 850MB temp is around +3C and 500MB vorticity heights of 540DM. We head back to cool and unsetteled weather for the 9th and 10th. In the extened, should see only a few showers for the 11th - 14th.

Viewing this Sunday forcast, thunder storm development may be scattered at best as lifted index is showing to be near -2 and MM5 model having CAPE values of 200 to 300 J/KG. Also, strong South to SSW winds of 40 - 45kts at 800 to 850MB looks good as that should help with the firing of storms. And adding to the storms....we may also see a little hail as MM5 500MB temps plunge rapidly to -32C come early sunday morning along with west winds flying at 40+ knots.

I might as well enjoy the active weather while we have it...
We have strong westerly winds shooting out of the Strait of Juan Defuca...this indicates a strong onshore flow which should benefit the mountain passes. Looking at current web cams, Snoqualmie pass is reporting a rain/snow mix...they've probably lost a few inches of snow from all the rain this morning. BUT...Stevens pass is reporting six inches of new snow and still snowing moderately...some good news. This indicates the snow level is around 3500 ft.
Latest satellite pics indicate a small shortwave entering the WA coast...this should enhance the westerly flow and bring good orographic lift to the mountains. Hopefully all mountain passes can manage another new, fresh foot of snow for opening weekend. As for the PSCZ, there's a good shot something will form once this next weaker short wave moves through.
As for winds, like I stated before, we have sustained at 15-25 with gusts to almost 40 mph. Very impressive. We actually had a power surge at school today.
I'm gonna enjoy this active weather...no more complaining. We'll get our warm/sunny weather in Summer.

Hey Anthony...was just out outside for couple hours or so with my anemometer and I was able to get a nice 22mph wind gust! So during that time, the winds were gusting to 18mph and slightly higher. Winds may gusting higher than 22, but that was hand held anemometer recorded.
Current 54 and part cloudy skies! Feels very cool wind the gusty winds!
