What a BEAUTIFUL Day!!! :)

#1 Postby KatDaddy » Sat Apr 02, 2005 10:01 am

A large part of the southern US will enjoy a fantastic weekend. That includes us along the Upper TX Coast/SE TX........Houston-Galveston Areas. We have been quite fortunate and missed much of the severe weather over the past weeks. I will definitley enjoy this weekend. Don't get sunburned. The sun will be full force................onward to hurricane season 2005.......59 days to go.

We finally have a beautiful day here in south Ms, although it is a bit on the chilly side. We had over 11 inches of rain in two days. So, I am going to really enjoy today.

We are having a beautiful day here in New Orleans as well. A bit chilly, and the wind is kicking pretty good. But the sun IS shining!!

Setting up to be a rather gorgeous day in Sylacauga, Alabama (40 nm SE of Birmingham) where temperatures are in the upper 50's. The only thing that is getting us are these GUSTY winds! The BMX CWA is under a wind advisory until 6 pm.

It's beautiful here too but WINDY and quite cold(for Early April). We're going this afternoon to look at a new house my cousin and her boyfriend have moved into. She is expecting her 2nd child in September. That is... news events permitting.

Our family attended an outdoor wedding today near Tarpon Springs. It was a beautiful setting on the water. I never realized how exhausting it is to be out in the wind. All of us were holding onto each other in threes so we wouldn't fall down. My left knee is killing me from bracing myself against the wind. Wow was it chilly.

One FOOT here, but that includes last weekend's storm, so it was actually over a week. 5.96" between Wednesday Night and Friday Night.
