We continue to wait for a new statement on the Pope's condition. It has once been delayed and may be soon delayed again.

It must mean then that he's holding his own so to say...nothing new to report on his condition.

Expect it in 30 minutes, I too doubt there is any significant change. He will fight as long as he can. He may survive past this weekend, although I still think its unlikely.

The part that is sticking with me is if there is no change, why the delay? Why not just come out... say there is nothing to report and leave, you leave everyone hanging and frankly it's beyond annoying. :grr:

The more I think about, the more I agree with you. Why a delay? You can tell there is so much difference in how the media is over there than here in America.

My dad just told me Italians are notorious for being late... and being in a hurry while driving. *Makes note to avoid driving there*

The pope worked a lot for peace and justice and humility in the world. I admire his life of service and hope that the next pontiff will be able to carry on the office with the same dignity.

10 minutes until the statement according to MSNBC. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Condition unchanged. He has redeveloped a high fever, and this will probably take him according to sources.

Hopefully a cool wash cloth on his forehead to help him feel at least some comfortable.
