Apparently people dont remember 92 very well because as soon as El Nino gets mentioned some believe that means that there will be no season.

2002 was an El Nino year, and the United States was hit by eight systems, one of them a Category One Hurricane (LILI).
However, both Isidore and Lili could/would have hit the North Gulf Coast as strong Category 4/Category 5 Hurricanes.
I do have to say though, I don't see much of a change...Bill Gray updated his numbers about a week ago...I don't see why he would have done that if he saw an El Nino coming. We should soon see.
