Preseason Prepardedness

Last year I believe Mike Watkins began a preparedness thread with ideas on what to have ready for hurricane season and what to get before a hurricane strikes your area. I mentioned, and a lot agreed we should look at doing a lot of preparedness stuff before the season started this year. So, how about we being a sticky or a thread with everyone's ideas. After-all, now through May are when you start getting ready. As many of my fellow Floridians found out last year sadly, shopping for a hurricane a day before it makes landfall isn't the wisest thing to do. I wonder how many people have fired up and tested those beautiful FEMA reimbursed generators since they used them last year?

We tested ours a couple of weeks ago, works fine, (altho it wasnt Fema -reimbursed, our inlaws gave it to us). Barb
