Severe Weather Central For April 19, 2005

#1 Postby michaelwmoss » Tue Apr 19, 2005 3:58 am

On our very 1st edition of our "Story Edition" of Severe Weather Central, we will talk about the logistics of this new Tuesday Night Show and will also be playing back a Pre-Recorded Interview with Scott McPartland from Queens, NY. Scott got started in Severe Weather after a terrible Severe T-storm hit the Queens, NY area back in 1985 producing Golf-Ball Sized Hail and Funnel Clouds, and numerous trees down. A storm slightly unusual for that area. Scott also travels to the midwest/plains every spring for about 2-3 weeks to chase Tornadoes. He has also been involved in several Hurricanes including Dennis in 1999, Floyd in 1999, Isabel in 2003, & Frances in 2004. He also will be speaking about an incredible sight he saw in Attica, KS on May 12, 2004 where we saw a tornado directly strike a home.
