Forum Changes

NEW! STORM ANALYSIS - This is where all of our Pro Mets, approved amateurs and our very own STORM2K Analysts will be posting thier thoughts on the current storms. Members will be able to participate in threads but not start new discussions. We hope this will make the best information easy to find for everyone.

NEW! HURRICANE PREP - This will be the place to find all your hurricane prep information. Whether it be preparing your home, family, pets or evacuation plans here is where to find the information you need.

Hurricane Hollow- As always this is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path. All amateur forecasts will require a STORM2K disclaimer ( to be provided later ) at the top for their forecast. This will be required this year to clearly notify readers that the information contained is from an unofficial amateur source.

Terrific update guys ...

I especially appreciate the creation of the "Tropical Analysis" forum. That should help a lot when the message volume starts to go through the roof. Last year a lot of good information scrolled down the page so fast it could sometimes get missed.

Thanks for your hard work, everybody.

Wow! You're really going to make it easy for us to find information and follow hurricanes this season! Thanks from a semi hurricane illiterate!

Also for your Tropical Satellites link, these links are coming straight from the NHC website. Why don't you put a link to the NHC website instead?

One other thing, rather than embedding new additions into this topic thread, why don't you move everything out to a webpage and have a link from the main site. That would be easier to navigate than having to scroll down and look for the new additions as they are available.
