FINALLY, after 7 MONTHS of the wettest WINTER in over 30 YEARS, it's SPRING 8-) Don't get me wrong, I "LOVED" ALL the snow we had (except for last Saturday when I woke up to 3" of SNOW).....but 7 MONTHS with virtually NO SUN.........it's TIME 8-)


AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
FXUS65 KFGZ 130915 AFDFGZ AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FLAGSTAFF 230 AM MST WED APR 13 2005 .SYNOPSIS...LIGHT SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL CONTINUE OVER ARIZONA FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. EXPECT WARM AND DRY WEATHER INTO THE WEEKEND...ALONG WITH OCCASIONAL AFTERNOON BREEZES. && .DISCUSSION...FOR TODAY AND THURSDAY...ARIZONA WILL BE LOCATED BETWEEN A RIDGE TO THE EAST AND A TROUGH ALONG THE WEST COAST. THIS WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE IN DAYTIME SOUTHWEST WINDS...A FAIRLY NORMAL PATTERN FOR SPRING IN NORTHERN ARIZONA. THERE WILL BE LITTLE CHANGE IN TEMPERATURES ALOFT SO DAYTIME TEMPERATURE TRENDS WILL REMAIN STEADY OR SLIGHTLY INCREASE OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS. THE AIR MASS WILL REMAIN DRY WITH ONLY A FEW HIGH CLOUDS. FOR THE END OF THE WEEK AND OVER THE WEEKEND THE MODELS ARE NOW SHOWING A WEAK...NEARLY ZONAL FLOW. THIS PATTERN WILL BRING THE WARMEST AIR MASS OF THE SEASON TO NORTHERN ARIZONA. EXPECT WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS WITH VARYING AMOUNTS OF HIGH CLOUDS. MCCOLLUM && .FGZ WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...NONE.

You do deserve it! Sometimes I'm jelous of the snow you report, but on the other hand I've been enjoying my 70's and sunny conditions for the last couple weeks. (central Alabama)

I'm guessing with the brutal winter golf hasn't been much of an option for you ehh? 8-)

So glad to see spring... I love winter weather, but we had very little precip. this year. No snow at all. Only cold and wet most of the winter. Thats what you get for living in Louisiana. Everything is so lovely now. Nice and green. See ya winter.
