Interesting read-More destructive Hurricanes likely

Not saying I'm one who necessarily supports global warming but one can't not argue that there has been a warming trend for whatever reason. What does this mean? Perhaps a step up in Hurricane intensity, more rainfall and flooding. For those who say we can't see another destructive season like last year, I would say don't jump so fast. The past doesn't always predict the future.

I have heard about the complete opposite regarding global warming and hurricanes.I read somewhere that if global warming occurrs that it will cause ice sheets to melt across Greenland & parts of North America. The result would be a large amout of cold water interfering with the Gulf Stream & causing dramatically cooling Atlantic waters reducing the amount & strength of tropical systems.

This would also cause frigid winters for Europe & what not.
