Yes, happy mother's day to all you mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, great-great grandmothers!
I wonder if we have any great-great-great grandmothers on here. If we do, happy Mother's Day to you, too!

Happy Mother's Day to all who have prepared 2 am bottles, changed diapers during dinner, kissed a million owies, held hands on the way to school, and cried for your child, with your child, and about your child.
Happy Mother's Day to those whose husbands sleep through the night when you have been exhausted, sometimes dreamed of just 5 hours by yourself while your husband is playing 18 holes of golf, or wished that your conversations didn't always have to include words like "ockie, stinky, no-no, or bye-bye."
Happy Mother's Day from a dad who could never comprehend what it must be like to carry a child inside you and watch him or her grow to become a unique new person.
And finally Happy Mother's Day to my mom who I lost shortly after returning from Vietnam, and to my wife of 34 years who now is nothing short of magic in the eyes of her granddaughters.
