Finally warm

#1 Postby hurricanetrack » Sun May 08, 2005 4:04 pm

Well, it is finally warm in the Southeast now. Water temps should start to come up. The SOI is supposed to be strongly positive over the coming days and the warm water in the east Pac is steadily declining. Could it be that our hurricane season will be very active as advertised since last December? We are about to find out. I cannot believe that we are sitting here in early May about to start all over again. It seems like last night when we were all on here boo-hooing that it was all over for six months. Just think, in one week, we get our first TWO for the east Pac. Yaay!

It is painful. Riding with Jesse is about as painful as it gets. This is a GIF animation taken from about 1400 web cam images that were posted to my site during our trip to Atlanta. These two struck me as particularly funny and I thought it would make for a good avatar. I am working on a JAVA loop of the entire batch of images from that trip just for fun. You have got to see some of the expressions, etc. that the internal web cam captured. Some of them are absolutely riotus (is that a word).
