Cool. Saw the link from Fark, love the site. I'm a member now too!

I used to live in Wadsworth, OH and these storms were a "regular" around those parts. Still have a lot of friends up there so I'll tell them about this site. Some of them have some pretty amazing tornado stories and photos.

Also, Charleston is about 1 hour away from me. Myrtle Beach about 2 1/2 hours, and the outer banks about 3 1/2 hours. During hurricane season a bunch of us like to do a little "east coast" surfing if you know what I mean (tee hee). I'll be more than happy to snap some photos if I see anything cool this year.

I found this via Fark as well. Great pics! I'm a NWS trained storm spotter in Madison, WI, and I'll definitely be sticking around!

Jumping on the Fark train here. Love the place - nice pics, Windy.

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm about to see some wild things here. There's an awful beefy storm on top of me right now. :)

Another FARKer

#31 Postby ssjkenny » Wed May 11, 2005 3:59 am

Wow, great pics, man, you indeed have some large cajones. I emailed the address to this thread to a couple friends, I hope you don't mind, those pictures were amazing! (not to mention the commentary!)

One day I should post about the time I got stuck on boat in a lake during a storm, and found out the next day about the waterspout that happened in it (I didn't get to see it, though... :( )
