HA HA. lol. He is in denial isn't he. But he's okay because he is in Daytona....chances are smaller a major hurricane will hit there.

Stormchasr that was funny. Boca burgers really aren't that bad my wife bought it and didn't tell me ,but I still liked it. What about driving on the beach are people still doing it?

lol. I was out tonight in S. Florida. A very strong East wind is evident...alot like last May :eek:

Funny, we have the westerlies here in NCF area. Wet, and a completely different pattern--rain has been heavy the past two weeks. Yes, we allow driving on some of the beaches (mostly in Daytona downtown, but I don't live in that area). Boca burgers are always welcome. :)

Typical winds here in NE Florida.

1-2 days of E or ESE winds
1-2 days of W or WNW winds

Very interesting pattern today. Storms Developed along the West coast off the East coast West coast seabreeze convergence with storm movement off to the West at 10 mph. We SHOULD NOT be seeing this July/August like pattern this early folks. This is exactly what happened last year. Dry South FL, wetter along the west coast of FL.

I want to wait through the rest of May but thus far what I'm seeing are hints that the Bermuda high will be stronger than usual this summer just like like summer. It's still too early to say definitively. I'll wait a couple more weeks to say for sure...it looks like we may move back into the westerlies by mid to late next week across peninsula FL.

Pretty much. Climatology has June and July under ESE at 9KT with August and September under E at 10KT.

I'm Mike, BTW.

...and it's from the Air Force Combat Climatology Center based on observations in the area since February 1943 over 217,776 observations.

i was out tonight in South Florida (Palm Beach County). We saw a brief shower come in off the Atlantic...lasted maybe 15 minutes....winds picked up off the E at 20-25mph...it's looking alot like August already....I think the Bermuda high will be stronger than normal this year by the looks of May so far...
