Mike, I also gave S2K a good plug in my hurricane season story for our June issue of our magazine (about 40,000 published).

He did get it right in the top of the article though. At least 10 meteorologists posted long-range hurricane predictions on the Web site storm2k.org last season.
Marshall, you're famous!
Oops ... must have skimmed past the first reference. Getting it right near the top of the article is most important in terms of maybe generating some traffic - too bad they didn't get it right at the bottom, though.

I believe that is a misprint. Should of course have said Storm2k.org like it did earlier in the article.
OK, yeah ... weather2k.org isn't registered.

Very Cool... Credibility goes a long way, and the staff at S2K just keeps doing the right thing to not only maintain the credibility, but to keep on making it better. Good on 'ya guys!!
...After that, Frank removed a spot on the Web site where people posted forecasts and put them all in a message board.
Those who lack experience in weather forecasting must use a disclaimer on the forecast, he said.

Wrong name
You should have seen what happened to me last year during Ivan. The Tribune Broadcasting people did an interview with me to air/be printed in 25 major U.S. markets last September. Millions of people saw/read the article about me and my efforts with the Hurricane Landfall Project. The only problem was- they called my site hurricanetracker.com. I received very little traffic as most people never found the right site: hurricanetrack.com. It happens. I also get my named mis-pronounced a lot. At least Marshall Frank is idiot proof! Who could screw that up?
Well done storm2k.org. You all have really made a name out there.

Thanks Dixie! How are you doing it's been a while since we've chatted.
Slightly off this specific top for a sec...hard to believe we are only a bit over 2 weeks before the season starts up again...already looking at models and an invest etc. Didn't the season just end?
