Yeah I found out it was indeed a mild one. But, he's also diabetic and has high blood pressure which is what really worries me. I don't think there will be any problems from those, but I don't know much more than I did last night. But in doing research I found out that my stepdad is at high risk for one, since he's had a TIA before (mini-stroke). And grandpa is at high risk now since he's had a stroke (don't know of any before yesterday). My stepdad is there at the hospital now, or will be soon and I'll keep you updated. But my thinking, and that of the doctors last I heard, is he'll be out of the hospital tomorrow at the latest.

Well I just spoke to my stepfather. The news isn't exactly bad, but it's not what I hoped to be sharing with you.
The good news is, he's still stable at the hospital. The bad(or not so good) news is, the doctors are still running tests on him and it looks like those results won't be in until Wednesday, perhaps as late as Thursday. I'll keep you up to date, as I should be able to talk to him myself tonight or tomorrow.

I'm doing all I can do. It's not easy.
I now have a little more information as to what happened today.
No he didn't have a second stroke (thankfully). However the effects of the one he had Sunday are now VERY clear. My dad was at the hospital earlier today. He had to help his dad to the bathroom. Grandpa's left side doesn't really have much function anymore. He is very weak. We don't know when he will go home, but this latest tells me that the situation is VERY grim. At best he will probably regain most, but not all of his motor function on his left side. At worst...he could have another stroke. Hopefully the latter is not the case but if it is to be, then I hope it happens while he's still in the hospital. At least then the doctors could minimize the effects of a second one. Either way, it's not looking as good as it did 24-36 hours ago.
