Where do you think you see an eye? (Give coordinates, please)

The feature is right smack in the middle of the circulation. Given the low sun angle, it's not definitive, but it could be the start of an eye. The feature is very small, and visible in the final frame. It's possible, this thing has spun up noticeably in the last few hours.

For it to have a true eye, it would need a well defined eyewall, which
there is no evidence of right now. The center of circulation may
be temporarily cleared out, like it did yesterday.

I don't have coordinates but check out the latest visible loop (the last frame or so). It is a small eye...

I don't see an eye on the visible, it does look more impressive than earlier though.

It's an overshooting cloudtop.

I hope your wrong because the houses there cannot withstand a Cat 1. Most of the buildings there are weak and the houses are mostly made of crap and fiberglass. Trust me I know this because 90% of my family live there. The streets are made up of dirt and will flood quickly..

Your right. Most of the indians that are there will not know what to do, as they do not have the communication necessary to warn them..

There is no eye. Depending on where you are talking about it is either a collapsing cell within the convection or an overshooting cloudtop as FB said.

Once again, definitions of rapidly intensifying are certain parameters, not someone seeing a sat pic and seeing growing cloudtops. If you have evidence of the rapid intensification as meteorologically defined please post them.

Anyway you look at this there is definitely going to be a severe flooding problem in CA with this storm.

I agree VB,I do not see an eye only a pretty decent looking storm at best maybe 75-80mph at landfall.NHC seems to think that development on the other side is marginal at best. The fact that Adrain will becoming out on the other side at 16'N or so the shear monger should have it for lunch sometime.

I see no eye either. The CDO looks much better than yesterday, and yes, the cloud tops are cooler, but I still see no eye. Is one forming, maybe, but she's running out of time.
