Actually, that wasn't a real notsogreatone advisory. However, when Isabel reached category five, I did have to chuckle and think about him.

If he was speaking about technicalities in his grammer, then he should have said "there were no more than 8 things right with that forecast."

- S. FL is DEFINITELY getting this one...I'm sure of it!

Hmmmm, I had a lot of "misspelled" words in that "advisory." I remember writing that faux-advisory and laughing my butt off really hard because Trashy One really should NOT be forecasting hurricanes (even though he unfortunately got the intensity for just five days out right, grrrrrrr!!!) But I also know what you mean.

I can't wait for his next attack and him saying that he shouldn't have to put the disclaimer in his forecasts.

He hasn't been around in a while. Did Trashy One finally decide to do what he really should do, go into counseling for a while? That, and re-attend first grade. Maybe time will tell. And we can hope.

Actually, he still trolls around here and from time to time he'll get gutsy enough to register a new username and post a message. Minutes afterward, though, it is normally deleted.

I think I would rather listen to greatone, then listen to some of the left wing stuff. That you see coming out of some of these colleges any day of the week. I would rather listen to greatone then listen to some of those nuts in Hollyweird. Greatone/Tom, at least has a love for something unlike some people an this world. At least he is on the computer where he can't hurt no one or do anything bad. I think this is the best place for him.

I have to disagree. While I may disagree with either the right or left sides in politics, I can learn from either side as well. And being on a computer doesn't mean he can't hurt feelings (keyword is hurt), because anyone can troll, which while certainly not a federal crime, is still bad.

Granted, if he can make more respectful forecasts, instead of bashing others and ripping others' off, and use some more reasoning in his posts, then maybe he can grow up. But Trashy One is one of the last people I would ever listen to, even for humor.

Let's take this thread back where it was meant to go. Even though GO indeed trolls this and other boards and generally makes a nuisance of himself, lets not stoop to his level please. As always with any troll the best medicine is IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE, and that includes even making comments about him.

lets remember that Matt works with great one, so dont expect an unbiased opinion (his name shows up quite a bit on the MWHCBS website)

Great one can cause a lot of harm as those uninformed may actually act on that info. When I started reading tropical message boards, I assumed that those posted actually really knew what they were talking about and we most likely mets. It took some time to figure out the truth. Howver, those searching for more storm info may not have the time to figure this out

As for what I remember most as the most humorous, when someone says the storm is going to their hometown when all meteorological data says it isnt. Some of the Claudette into Louisiana wishcasts from 2 years ago were some of the most memorable (I was even accused of living in Texas and -removed- by a couple living in LA, dont think they post here any longer, for accurately predicting a central Texas landfall)

Derek you did perfect on Claudette in then Charley.

Derek Ortt, I look up to you as a good forecaster. I read every one of your discussions. This year I will try to make a forecast on each one of the storms. Like I did for the hurricane.

I will read the pro's in gain knowledge. In become a better forecaster. Wish me luck. :P

My favorite was in 2003 when Rainstorm declared that the east coast was safe from a hurricane hit that season only to have Isabel show up and knock her power out for a couple of weeks........MGC

What about "hunker down?" That was last year's slogan.

Also, "A gigantic weed eater" (reference to Ivan).
