What I find interesting and also scary at the same time is that basically the same conditions existed in 1969, which I believe is one of the better analog years for this year(feel free to correct me Don or others). This includes the very high rain amounts that have occurred in S AL, NW FL this spring. Basically, and I think someone posted to that in another thread on this site, the conditions are very similar all over the South when compared with 1969. Just an observation, which gives us something to think about.

We had a good rain sat night in NE FLL and also some more this morning..the atmosphere has moistened considerable in the last week...the train has left the station as far as the rainy season goes. the lid will blow off soon.

I agree with you J, it has become VERY humid now. I love seeing the return of the dark clouds in the afternoons here. Looks like the season has officially begun.
