whew! just got in from the "afterparty". Had a few teary moments...make that quite a few...during the graduation ceremony. This year instead of the graduates walking in to Pomp & Circumstance (??) the Senior Counselor said "We present to you the 2005 graduating class..." the curtains opened on the stage and there were the students...all smiles, standing at their seats. Quite a surprise to us! The five 4.0 students each gave a small humorous speech with each one speaking about faith, family, faculty and two other subjects that begin with the letter F that is slipping my mind at this late hour!

Bre, tell Chris good luck! Oh wait, you can't...he's on his senior trip!

Hey, it is wonderful when one's kids graduate. Last year, my "baby" graduated from college--some baby--6' 2" tall and proud. Now, he's preparing for grad school. Man, they grow up fast---y'all should be extremely proud of them. :)

Congrats to each of you! What a ride it has been trying to get your kids there sometimes, but it is worth it on graduation night! You have a right to be proud of them. We are proud of them too!!

I reminded my boys often that their education is something that they own totally...and no one can ever EVER take that away from them.

Congratulations again.

Ugh....The morning after! I'm soooooooooooooo tired and I didn't even drink...designated driver! I feel like I drank though!

Just thought I'd pass this little tidbit on....after watching the kids dance I have come to the conclusion you can get pregnant just by dancing  j/k. The way they were bumping and grinding left little to the imagination! What good catholic schoolkids!

Zoey...your sister may meet my daughter. She's tried out and made the UL Ragin Jazz Dance Team and during football season they dance with the band at halftime. If you go watch your sister, look for the shortest dancer (4'10") and that'll be my daughter!
