I could go on and on but hopefully I have gotten my point across.
It is only a few days til the new season starts. Please take it seriously wherever you might be threatened. As you can see, you never know what could happen. Don't think - not me. I'm sure many of the poor victims from these photos thought the same thing. It doesn't matter how sturdy your home is, if you are in an evacuation zone, please do so. Those that are near the zone and don't know for certain that your home can withstand a certain category find a shelter as well. Those that are prone to flooding, seek shelter as well. Remember you don't have to leave the state - go to a safe shelter or find friends or family that are in a safer spot you can stay with.
It is not worth the chance you could be taking.
