My job working in the shoe dept at Sears is always boring. And I hate it, but I can't quit until something else comes along. Not enough pay at all. I will get my civil service scores sometime this week, and can start applying for a way better paying state job.

Same here--can be totally absorbing 14 hour days, or dull beyond belief. Maybe I will play my guitar. :D

Geez, I have to at least TRY to look busy! And I am the ONLY one here today - but people going into other offices can see me. Thank goodness for all of the websites in my favs - it looks like I am typing an important document or something (maybe I'm not fooling anyone though 8-) )

Yes I am bored. I do not want to review this environmental report in front of me. I would rather be fishing or grabbing the boyfriend and furniture shopping or playing pogo or cat napping.

Oh yeah, I can think of other things to be doing right now that would be much more pleasant..... :)

Never a dull day at my job. We always short staffed so even when things are slow there is plenty of work to do.

When I get my work done, all I have to do is answer the phone. So I spend alot of time on the internet and playing Mahjong. That's why I'm the Champ!!

I can't work anymore, but boredom does "live here"; not today, because I just received my Kragenspiegeln u. Shulterstucken fur Oberst, Fusilier (collar insignia and shoulderboards, Colonel of Light Infantry) to add to my slowly growing WW II collection.

We all have our "toys".
