Moved to the condo (clarifying--lolol)

It is done---the movers moved everything, and the packers unpacked today. 100% settled, and things are fabulous.....waking up and watching sunrise from my balcony overlooking the Ocean--wow!! Gonna eat dinner sitting and watching the boats go by over the Intracoastal. :D

Excellent! We looked at making that decision several years ago and decided against it.

Looks like we may be making the move back to AZ or NM sooner than our plan projected, though.

Congrats on the new digs and enjoy!

Whee in Arizona? Tucson is an amazing town for the scenery. Ever been to Las Cruces?

I went to high school in Tucson many years ago. We just went on vacation there in March. Went to NAU (GO LUMBERJACKS)

we are looking at southeastern arizona, specifically the Patagonia or Sonoita area.

my husband was just offered a job in Albuquerque. Not our favorite town, but sure beats the heck out of the Florida panhandle!

Parts of Albuquerque can be very nice. The Northeast Heights near Sandia can be a pleasant area to live--very scenic. Downtownis no bargain, but what city is attractive downtown, except St. Augustine, New Orleans, or a few others?

the biggest problem with Albuquerque for us is an ungrateful, hateful 26 year old daughter and my hubby's ex-wife...

I am not a "downtown" kind of person. Need some open space. Actually i need LOTS of open space. I miss the desert and the mountains. And Santa Fe is not so far away...

How bout Corrales? That is a great town in the desert plateau, and lots of big open spaces. Yeah, isn't Santa Fe cool? One of my favorite cities. :)
