Question for Derek Ortt

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Question for Derek Ortt

#1 Postby EDR1222 » Fri May 27, 2005 10:27 am

Hey Derek,

There is another post on here discussing the 1995 season and you had mentioned that the main difference between 04 and 1995 was the number of July storms that occured in 95. I was just wondering what things were going on in the atmosphere/ocean that led to such a busy July during that year.

Thanks,

Ed

I'd have to go back and look at the parameters that were present then. Wasn't working the field back in 1995.

Erin did form under similar conditions to Alex though and Dean and Barry were of non-trop origin
