It appears that unless one owns property and has truly experienced the full effects of a true hurricane(I don't care what category)the fascination of the power of mother nature wins out. My vote will ALWAYS be turn away!!! I've seen and experienced enough to last me a lilfetime. Admittedly I will still "chase" and relish the experience of a storm, but my vote will ALWAYS be TURN AWAY!!!

No he's not. I fully understand the "excitement" behind the bring it on votes and respect that, I also understand the loss and anguish that many experienced last year and for that I vote turn them away. Hope that makes sense. These storms are inevitable and all we can do is be PREPARED!!!! for the worst and pray for the best!!

Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!! Make last season look like a cake walk as thats what homeowners insurance is for 8-) 8-)

If its cat 1 or 2 bring it on. I get so tired of the heat and relish the wind and rain. If its 3 or more, I hope their fish bait.

I'm guessing you don't own a home?? Personally, going through the drill to repair your home and replace belongings is not something I say "bring it on". Furthermore, I really don't understand why this poll is not sensitive to the people who lost their lives last year and every year we have a landfall. To say "Bring it on" is almost disrespectful in a way to families who have lost loved ones. Yes, to experience a cane is a rush, no doubt, but the cost of that rush is something I would not "Bring it on" for anyone. Just my two cents....

Bring these things on. They're part of nature and its good to bring down human ego. Some people die, but people kill more people than nature ever will. I enjoy storms. Might be twisted, but if thats the limits of my twistedness, I'm doing good. :D

Yes I own a home and its insured so it would be replaced. Of course, it is a mobile home so I would have to go to more sturdy shelter but if there is nothing you can do about storms other than to prepare and watch and enjoy mother natures fury. No harm in -removed- :D

I wouldn't be so sure about insurance companies replacing your home and property (provided there is catastrophic damage)after andrew there were countless insurance companies that went bankrupt .....and a lot of people that had paid premiums for years that didn't recieve a dime.

Then I hope your parents take your college money to make any necessary repairs to their house, if it is damaged. :wink:

It wont get damaged this house is concrete block and adheres strictly to the building codes and is well shuttered. I would feel safe riding a Camille or Andrew like storm in here. The 2 story houses though I would be worried about as their top half is made of wood.
