This would all be very funny if it were not a possibility with insanatorms bill and accuweather's lobbying efforts.

God Announces Outsourcing of Tropical Storm Season

ASSOCIATED PRESS

HEAVEN (AP) -

In a stunning announcement this morning, God said he has decided to outsource the 2005 tropical season to an international coalition of American, European and Asian corporations. The tropical storms division of the Hosts of Heaven have been laid off with the exception of managers who will be reassigned.

Director of natural disasters Arkangel Gabriel has not commented publicly, but a senior member of his staff said he is privately very angry, saying "those puny humans can't wreak half the havok we can." Asked about this rumor, God only said "history shows that humans are more than capable enough to cause all the destruction and misery we could ever need."

Officials at the Office of Purgatory are hastily setting up extra beds, as pickets of laid-off angels at the Pearly Gates are expected to slow the admissions rate to Heaven to a trickle.
