The Gulf system is interesting
There appears to be a low pressure at around 30 north/87 west. It appears to be a lopsided system. Most of the weather is on the eastern side. Alison like? We will see if it can get that convection over its center before it moves in.

Moisture Invasion
It was rocking down here at northern Broward County, needed the rain. At least it's not as dry as last year.

Here in Miami-Dade we had a few showers in the morning and that was it, I just got 0.04" of rain. We always get less affected by these type of systems than the rest of Florida.

That's true, I was watching in the news the problems people had to confront during the Memorial Day Weekend when coming from the keys with the smoke from the wildfires. Rain is needed!

Matt-hurricanewatcher wrote:One clue to it becoming something is the outflow/cloud fan that is forming. With the banding like convection. Maybe not to the surface but if it where in the middle of the Gulf this could be a Bill like storm.
It's not going to be anything if it doesn't have a SURFACE circulation. Period. The End.
There is absolutely NOTHING organized here.

brent is correct, this is nothing more than a trough with shortwaves rotating around the base giving us all the rain. 2 nights in a row we were awaken with heavy t-storms as these waves come through flroida.
