Welcome to the first day of Hurricane season....
... You're now under a Tornado Watch.
No, I'm not kidding... Palm Beach and Broward County awoke this morning to find themselves under a tornado watch until 11am today.
Weeeeee..... let's just hope this isn't a sign of what's to come.
How did we start today??

Yep same here, lot's of rain. Just finished having a serious round of lightning......again.
I think this is all my fault. It had been exceptionally dry here, so on Monday afternoon I gave in and fired up the sprinkler system. I joked to my wife that since everything was watered, we would now have some serious storms. Geez, I was joking! Little did I know just how much rain and lightning we were in for.
I have now decided that I am turning off the sprinkler system for the duration of the hurricane season

In the Palm Beach Post this morning there is a article about Jim Lushine and he is postponing his retirement until August or Sept. This may have been in another thread, if so, my bad.
Hope with his confidence on the rain in May theroy and that article it does not encourage people to put their guard down thinking S. Fla might not experience a hurricane this season.
