Tax free hurricane supplies June 1-12 here in Florida! Who is taking advantage of that and what supplies are you buying? We are going to get a generator today!! Ahhhhh, the hum of generators............

I posted this over in the "Hurrican Preperation" forum as well:

The Home Depots here are matching the sales tax savings, so for Pinellas County at least, that is 15% off. I don't know if this is state-wide or just locally.

They're all over the place in Sarasota. That said, I'll just live without one for now.

Frank Cerabino's column in the Palm Beach Post yesterday nearly made me wet myself. I had tears streaming down my cheek. He talks about the $750 generators and more.
