Happy Birthday to Me!

Well as of 3:36pm CDT today June 3 I have been on this planet 44 years. During that time I have had more than my share of ups and downs, with the primary "up" finally having a job that pays decent even though im not getting rich; the biggest "down" is the death of my father in March. As I progress into middle age not only have I gotten older but I have gotten wiser as well. The lessons from my late parents are forever etched in my mind. Ive learned to listen more and talk less, and to remember that everyone I meet is someone I can learn something from. A far cry from the cocky kid I was 20 years ago. Well at that I will leave to devour my birthday cake :lol:

Sir, that would make you 24 days older than my wife, and 97 days older than myself. Have a wonderful day, and remember that getting older isn't bad.. sure beats the alternative of not getting older. :D
