Will the rain ever end?

#1 Postby Scorpion » Sat Jun 04, 2005 9:02 am

It has been cloudy and rainy since Memorial Day. The last true sunny day was May 29 or something. I don't think I have ever been here when there was not a sunny day for a week, but it looks like this will happen. Wheres summer??

Long as I remember The rain been comin' down.
Clouds of myst'ry pourin' Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Tryin' to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

I went down Virginia, Seekin' shelter from the storm.
Caught up in the fable, I watched the tower grow.
Five year plans and new deals, Wrapped in golden chains.
And I wonder, Still I wonder Who'll stop the rain.

Heard the singers playin', How we cheered for more.
The crowd had rushed together, Tryin' to keep warm.
Still the rain kept pourin', Fallin' on my ears.
And I wonder, Still I wonder Who'll stop the rain.

Here in South Florida, we have not seen the sun at all this entire week. Here in Palm Beach along the coast, there were some storms that developed that happened to remain stationary from about 1am to 7am...the streets were absolutely flooded everywhere and cars were stalling out this morning.
