Late Arlene forecast; just a touch closer to Florida
Not a big deal with the track; just a nudge over; everybody along the area near forecasted landfall should get ready for a messy Saturday and use some common sense. People in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia especially will likely see alot of rain out of this.

Rainband
You mean east right??The brings Arlene to 50kts before landfall, as shear is forecast to be light in the northern Gulf of Mexico, and the forecast brings the storm ashore in Alabama; however, all residents along the northern Gulf Coast from southeast Louisiana to the panhandle of Florida should monitor the storm, noting that much rainfall will likely occur to the west of the center once it comes ashore Saturday.

I don't think LA has 'alot' to worry about. This thing is going north and all convection is going to be far east of center of circulation.

WRONG. The entire North Gulf area should be prepared. You, or anybody else, do not have any assurances where it is going.
Good Point, everyone from Key West to Galveston TX. needs to stay informed at this point, especially if you are a boater such as myself and love weekend trips out into the Gulf reeling in the big ones!!!
