In the last few years the entire island of Cuba has been suffering from a drought, in some cases, severe. Is true the island has been affected by several hurricanes in the past 5 years, Lili, Isidore, Charley, Michelle, to name a few. But, those tropical system have not been much of a rain maker. Fortunately, at least for the Western portion of the island, Arlene will provide sufficient rain to at least alleviate the problem in conjunction with a lot rain that fell during the last couple of weeks.
