TLC for TLC

Those of you who came to the light via the starship weather.com may know that TLC (Tracy of weather.com) has been battling some stresses and health issues in her life recently.

She today shared with me that she indeed has some challenges that are new to her...not life-threatening, but challenging nonetheless.

She asked that I let you know she appreciates your prayers and thoughts and that she is working her way toward health and happiness as best she can.

Tracy is a wonderfully warm person who will surely thank many of you personally when she can find her way back up the road she's going down.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers once more. She has done that for many of us in the past.

She'll be back...I'm sure of it! In the meantime, go ahead and miss her!

Surely my prayers go to her for a full recovery and then she may be with us full time.

Dennis - thanks so much for the update. Many newcomers here know Tracy from TWC's former chat room and message boards. She has so many friends here from those days and easily many new friends, just waiting in the wings to get to know her. I do miss her - please tell her that. And as always, she is in my prayers. Has been for weeks now. Think of her so often. And I'm just going to post for Cyclone too, until he sees this topic. We've been PM'ing back and forth, thinking of her, praying, and hoping she feels much better very soon. So say hi from ole Cyclone, the original "just saying hi" poster!

Hugs Tracy!!! From your Miss Mary - see you have to return, afterall you nicknamed me Miss Mary!!! Until then, no one called me that. No one!!! I sort of felt a little like Miss Ellie there a few years ago....made me smile....yes I was a huge Dallas fan! LOL

azskyman/azsnowman....what's the difference?

This time the message from TLC is from the skyman version of Arizona. Don't have a problem at all with Dennis getting credit for the update...but if a fight starts somewhere in this thread..well, it is Dennis who threw the first punch!

Thanks for checking the thread, though. TLC will appreciate it.

Thanks as always for the update! I hope that with each passing day she feels alittle bit stronger and healthier. I'll keep her in my thoughts as well!

I miss Tracy a LOT...in IM's over the months prior to her hospitalization and "D-Day", she and I found that we both shared a passion for edged and barreled weapons, and a healthy ribaldry of repartee which often left her laughing uncontrollably... :lol:

Since "D-Day" I have not heard from her at all, and was unaware of her health or personal status until this post. Those of you who are in contact with Tracy, please ask her to send me a brief E-mail at her convenience?

She is valued, treasured and MISSED.

as in, two different individuals!

OMG - Steve - I completely mixed you up with Dennis. I'm so sorry!!!! Geez.....can't believe I did that. Forgive me?!!! Dennis has been in contact with her lately that's why I guess I did that.....

Yes, I know they're completely 2 different individuals. God, screwed up guys - so sorry!!! :-(

Oops, I'll blame it on breeze.....that wouldn't be very nice though. Couldn't resist Annette!!! Guess we both goofed!

Important thing is TLC here though. Bill, I especially loved what you said about Tracy. Very nice thoughts. She is very missed and treasured!

When I first went to TWC chat room, I met 3 friends almost at the same time: TLC, Skywatch_NC/Eric and angelheart. And from that moment on, those 3 always represented TWC to me. Not one has ever had a harsh word to me or any member. When I think of TLC, I think of Eric and angel too. Not sure they'd understand my reasoning, but meeting those 3 good friends on the same day, was so nice.

Side by side...

The one time I visited Pinetop was when Dennis and his wonderful bride skipped town to go see the VLN telescopes in New Mexico.

I have a feeling that seeing the two of us side by side (or is it wide by wide), we would be much more distinguishable than as azskyman and azsnowman.

Unless, of course, we both became Santa at the same time. Then...our younger brother Dennis would be the one a full set of white whiskers above me!

Thanks for the kind words about Tracy. I'll surely encourage her to stay in touch personally. I'm a poor excuse for a medium for all this love and respect.

Tracy is a wonderful person and I hope the get well wishes find a way to her shortly. She has been battling many downfalls through her life and has found a way to surprise everyone. Tracy, get well soon

Come to think of it, my first MSN Messenger with Tracy was a "three-way" with "angelfood" participating...we need to get her on Storm2K as well, y'think? :wink:

Bill - just emailed angelheart tonight to extend an invite this way too. Her loyalty to TWC is fairly strong, but hopefully she'll at least check it out here. Here's hoping angel will be impressed, how can she not be? :-)

Can you think of any others we're leaving behind? Lindaloo mentioned thundercat recently but he changed email addys. I probably have his old one too. If you think of someone we're missing, please email them!

PS - quick edit, funny how I knew who you meant with your angelfood nickname, he he.

I have never "met" Tracy before, but please let her know she will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she will one day join us here at Storm2k so I may get to know her.

I sure do remember TLC from TWC. Hopefully she improves and joins us here. There is no question about it, she will truly love to interact with us; many of her TWC friends and others, too.
