GOM Conditions for Fri&Sat???
Would anyone with forecast/weather knowledge please let us know what the conditions for the GOM should be like for Fri & Sat as far as how strong the high is supposed to be, any ULL's, troughs, shear, etc. Have not read much about this today and would like to know. Thanks.

it's going to be rough no matter where you are (unless very far west in the Gulf). There's likely to be a small craft advisory west of the river and probably a gale advisory beginning either east of the mouth or maybe at the LA/MS line. Tropical storms do generate some pretty big swells out a day or so ahead of a system.
