Looks to me like shear from the southwest, especailly when the animation is set to high speed. But, that's a completely novice viewpoint. Perhaps someone might explain what I'm seeing.

Key West and the Dry Tortugas actually reported 40 mph winds a few hours ago, with higher gusts, however Cuba hasn't reported any that high so far, it's odd, all the wind is very VERY far away from the center.
