Computer upgrades are being started tomorrow (Thursday)

Just a note that my computer is going in for the previously mentioned upgrades tomorrow, Thursday, May 1st. I will not lose Internet service, however; as I have another computer that I will be using during this time which sits about 2 feet north of my current tower. ;)

More memory means better performance :-) I'm sure you'll notice the difference :-)

My brother installed 128 MB of RAM last night (as I may of mentioned I got it last week) I have certainly noticed a difference the last several hours. Even fast than dial-up to cable modem, which by the way I have had internet access through my local cable provider for six months, yesteday. What a coincidence! 8)

My computer can take three 128 MB memory cards. As of last night, one slot is empty, the new one is in the middle slot and the existing 64 MB is obviously still in the tower, so now I have 192 MB, but could have double that, 384 MB. I may get a newer version of Windows (have Windows 98.. on this computer I got in June 2000). I will probably get a new computer in a few years, before getting a new OS; we shall see. :)
