that do not know how to read the recon reports, can you maybe put a small blurb in what all it means at the bottom of each report? Just a suggestion.

Let's wait for the next mission this afternoon that will be very important because Arlene is getting better organized as time goes by and the data that they will get will say if it has intensifyed more than expected maybe close to hurricane status.

Once the Vortex is run, I can decode the Supplemental and I'll post....

senorpepr has the OBS recco decoder, if he is around..

was the 64KT Avila talking about really 64 m.p.h.?


No recon report I have seen said more than 56KT, which is about 55 m.p.h. at the surface

Winds out of the east would suggest that the center or one of the centers is to the south of that position. :eek:
