So what are you doing for Arlene?

#1 Postby Steve » Fri Jun 10, 2005 11:37 pm

All 3 of my kids had baseball games tonight, so I was at the ballpark from 5:00 til about 9:20. It was a great night out here in Metairie. The old lady's working the night shift, and I've got a houseful of sleepovers. I had an Abita Wheat earlier and am drinking some Appleton Estate rum on the rocks right now. I'll have another. Anything beyond that depends on what the weather does. I never miss any rain bands. So if I have the chance, I'll go out on the deck and do a shot or two :).

Cheers.

I was going to mow the yard this afternoon, but ended up getting talked into having dinner with dhweather and his family instead. Tomorrow: put a rush on cleaning out the garage, fix the mailbox, read S2K and decide whether or not to pull the 'flyables' in from the yard. Then perhaps go to a friend's in Bay St. Louis tomorrow night if things look ok, for some good cookin' and wave-watching.
