Mind you that they are well west of the storm. It looks like any cloudiness where they are is under their aircraft, thus clear skies.

Toss out what I just said... I'm tired as well. :wink:

Here's the scope... they mistakenly sent the vortex message out as ob 13. They corrected to display ob 12 (CCA). Then they forget to correct the vortex time. (CCB). Then they transmitted a dropsonde as the real ob 13 with ob 14 as a recco shortly thereafter.

Okay. So the real time on the vortex should be 0918Z.
