It's relative nice and quiet in Hancock county but......

New Orleans Doppler shows that the storms rains are about to cross into
Jackson County.

It is cloudy and breezy here in Jackson Cty with light drizzle. My birds have been acting funny and my Corgi too.

Here's a current radar image with surface obs plotted. It appears that 70 mph wind estimate for Arlene is very generous. More like 35-50 mph.

Front beach in Biloxi is glass slick with some smooth 0.5 to 1 foot waves showing up every so often along the water's edge.... people jogging on the board walk... 4-5 girls actually trying to sun bath near the water.... not much sun however... just another cloudy day at the beach.... would never know there is a TS just anywhere around

Yeah, I though it was strange too but only because it is so cloudy... not because it was 8:00 am..... hey, they were young... but I just looked out my window and now they are gone.... go figure..

It's raining a ton here. Give it a few more minutes Rocketman. There's hardly any wind to speak of. She's looking link a typical June TS....

Just finished mowing the weeds; it is relatively cool and breezy in Diamondhead. It's actually quite nice. Very quiet though as far as critter noise goes.

Off to fight with a stripped screwhead... :slime:

Just got back from Bay St Louis - winds 20-25 MPH tops, cloudy,
and whitecaps in the Bay.

The water levels are lower than yesterday. Probably 1-2 feet above normal.
