1130 AM EDT SAT JUN 11 2005

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM ARLENE...LOCATED OVER THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO ABOUT
85 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF MOBILE ALABAMA.

A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER EXTENDS FROM THE CENTRAL CARIBBEAN
SEA...EASTWARD ACROSS THE LEEWARD AND VIRGIN ISLANDS TO THE
ADJACENT WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. THE ACTIVITY HAS BECOME A
LITTLE MORE CONCENTRATED SOUTH OF HISPANIOLA AND PUERTO RICO...BUT
UPPER LEVEL WINDS ARE NOT FAVORABLE FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT. A
SLOW WESTWARD TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE
OF DAYS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SUNDAY.
